About.
My Background
I am a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers!) with a Bachelor's in Psychology.
I am certified executive coach and accredited emotional intelligence practitioner, with over eight years of experience. I have specialties in stress management, co-active coaching, emotional accountability, and conscious leadership. My approach is a combination of different practices and I am constantly adding new tools and strategies to my arsenal. I have 18 years of experience in the non-profit arena working for such organizations as National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, Planned Parenthood, Cordillera International Film Festival, and the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. The last eight years, I served in a executive leadership role. My passion for this work arose out of my own professional burnout and witnessing the emotional disruptions that deterred engagement and detracted from the work. As a leader, I noticed that more and more of my time was dedicated to managing the emotional intelligence of my staff, then my actual job description. I saw a need for a dedicated presence, actively committed and accountable to this work. |
